I think it is impossible to do the research and movie in such a short time,really.I think it must be longer and deeper.And not only 2 days for the shooting! What to do with this I do not know? I am very tired from the institutional proposals to do the project in 2 weeks...

Today we are completely fucked up.We can not even speak.Eugen mentioned that only he likes biking with the dress when we followed him by car.Maybe everything was wrong.

Dan is genius and the most beautiful camera woman that I ever met in my life.To work with her brings so much pleasure! My daughter saw this image and said: "Is it a girl? I think it is a boy!"

Today we discovered the importance of details in our life.You cannot transport the camera on your bike if you have no elastic spin.

Hurra!!!! Today we started shooting the Movie: "Detective story of Amsterdam Noord!"

Thank you Daniela,Merel,Elly,Trix... and all the nice shop owners and workers!!!

Finally it is the ideal situation in my life: a good camera, super assistant and the fish line to show that dresses can fly and the MUST fly as much as they can...

Trixa is the genius actress,she worked as a therapist in the jewish theatre with the victims of the second world war.

During our process some people reacted in the negative way,something like: "It is very dangerous what you are doing cars could crush... "Although it was no real danger at all because normal cars could go easy under the fish line.And for the big ones we could manage to cancel the process...People are immediately thinking it is danger when something is strange, not normal...

Camering Merel socks ...

Deze sokken heb ik in september 2006 in Los Angeles gekocht. 2006 was geen goed jaar voor mij en ik moest weg. In mijn koffer zaten natuurlijk alleen maar warme wollen wintersokken uit Nederland. Ondanks alle problemen thuis was daar ver weg ineens mijn grootste zorg het vinden van zomersokjes. Deze sokken bewaar ik om me eraan te herinneren hoe banaal dingen ineens kunnen lijken of zijn. Sokken.

I bought these socks in September 2006 in Los Angeles. 2006 was not a good year for me and I just had to leave. In my suitcase I only had warm woollen Dutch socks. Despite all the problems at home, over there, far away, all of a sudden my biggest concern became finding summer socks. I keep these socks to remind me of how banal things can all of a sudden seem or actually be.
